Latvia company types

In Latvia it is possible to register different legal entities. Limited Liability Company (SIA) is the most common form of entity in Latvia to start business. In Latvia a LLC is called SIA(Sabiedr?ba ar Ierobežotu Atbild?bu). There are also other forms available in Latvia like:

• Single or multiple natural person Limited Liability Company (SIA)
• Limited Liability Company with reduced minimum equity capital

Individual Merchant is individual Latvian resident who is registered in Commercial Register as Merchant.
